My wife and I got a chance to see a lot of great matches. We were able to see Pro singles
matches (men's and ladies' both) as well as Mixed doubles and Men's and Women's
    doubles as well.

Some of the greats like Kyle Yates won't be played until tomorrow.

Wednesday's morning matches were cancelled due to rain, so we headed back home. We
will watch Saturday's final matches on CBS Sports Network.

If you love pickleball and if you have that station, be sure to watch. In the meantime, you
can watch it on YouTube's Pickleball Channel.

We saw some great matches at the US Open. Sunday were the singles
matches, and Monday started doubles. They had pros on a lot of the
pros on outlying courts, and you could just go from one good match to
the other. It was a lot of fun.

Glad you asked :) Think of tennis on a smaller court, and the net lowered a bit. It is played using a paddle and a plastic ball with holes in it.

The amount of holes varies depending on whether it is played indoors or out. Indoors, I have seen it played on carpet, but normally on a gymnasium-type wooden floor. Outdoors, the court is similar to asphalt, but much better.

Scoring is probably the most difficult part of the game to learn, but it comes easily once you start playing.

I would do a search on YouTube to learn more and see it in action.
