well. They may have changed something in one of the updates. IOK, thanks; at least I know it's a 'them rather than me' problem. I
don't know for sure, though.
didn't recall doing anything to change paremters but....
Having said that, I had an occasion the other day where it worked
like expected. The download window stayed open even when I
closed the main Firefox window. So, I don't know what's going
on. But then, that's nothing new. <G>
Not saying I'm not going to, just don't have the inclination, mainly
because too much other stuff taking my time.
Facebook can definitely be a "time waster".

Facebook can definitely be a "time waster".Well, so can anything!
Oh, I only *thought* I could find ways to waste my time before
Facebook came along. Facebook brings a whole new meaning to the
phrase "wasting time". Yet, I'm still on it. <G>
Seriously though, it's great for keeping in contact with folks
you don't see on a regular basis. I'm talking to folks on there I
haven't seen in 20 or 30 years. Plus, there's all the family
that's on there, that I only get to see every few years, usually
at a funeral or something like that.
þ OLXWin 1.00b þ "Barry! There's some lovely filth down here!"Why thank-you! <g>
Is that a line from Monty Python?

*REALLY* think?"
As for the traffic, me, Gregg, and the "Canadian Civil Servant" a.k.a.
Doug Powless have been hanging out on Facebook. I see Gregg on Facebook more than I have here recently on I-Link.

Can you believe that? Me, a guy, getting female stalkers. It was
with the weirdest freaking Facebook name I could invent.

Yes, and even on Facebook, the comments are few and far between.
I keep canvassing for messages here now and then but lately there
has been nothing. Until today, when I downloaded a whole 16
messages. (Yahoo!) :)

That's what is surprising: that you've been able to keep it going that long. It's supposedly a violation of their terms of service to open an account under "an assumed name".

I think I am just starting to have the same problem! ;-) I think they will find that I don't use FB enough to keep their interest, though.
I'm not surprised really. Can you imagine the monumental labour cost DP>associated with monitoring all that stuff? With millions of users
